Salix Estates undertook the conversion and extensive refurbishment of a dilapidated House of Multiple Occupancy into a 4-bedroom high-quality family home, situated within walking distance of the heart of the sought after centre of Broadstone. This early 19th century property was restored to its former splendour whilst also making the most of the space to enable modern family living.

​Whilst the conversion and renovation works were underway, Salix Estates were successful in obtaining planning consent for the erection of a 3-bedroom town house. In doing so, the potential of the existing developed ‘brownfield’ site was unlocked and an additional much needed family home was provided.

Located in the heart of the market town of Wimborne, this previously dated detached 1930s dwelling set within a sizeable plot offered a unique opportunity. 

​Salix Estates extended and refurbished the dwelling to create a spacious 4-bedroom family home with extensive environmental upgrades. External works were undertaken to create a kitchen garden, lawn, extensive planting area and outdoor cooking terrace. Internally, the property benefitted from a high specification including Porcelanosa tiles, under floor heating, AEG kitchen appliances and a Rangemaster double oven.

Salix Estates successfully obtained full planning consent for the demolition of the existing 2-bedroom dilapidated bungalow, and erection of a 4/5-bedroom detached chalet bungalow. 

Boasting over 2,100ft2 of accommodation, this deceivingly spacious open-plan property ensured flexibility to the end user, allowing the use of rooms to be adapted as needs require. 

The specification for this home included Porcelanosa tiles to the entire ground floor and bathrooms, under floor heating, AEG kitchen appliances, a double-height entrance hallway, and a steel, oak and glass staircase.
